Terms of Service
Last updated 31 August 2026
The terms that govern use of AxonQA. The one rule that matters most: only test applications you are authorized to test. The rest is here in plain language.
The short version
Test what you're authorized to test
Point AxonQA only at applications you own or have explicit permission to test. That is the one rule that protects everyone.
Your data stays yours
You own your projects, tests, and results. We never use them to train AI models, and you can export them at any time.
Clear paid plans
You see the price and billing interval before checkout, and your workspace is created only after Stripe confirms the purchase.
Honest limits
AxonQA helps you find defects; no testing tool can promise your software is defect-free. Review AI output before relying on it.
The summary is for orientation only; the numbered sections below are the full, binding text.
1.The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and AxonQA Ltd(“AxonQA”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17382382, with its registered office at 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. They cover your use of the AxonQA platform at axonqa.com, the local agent, and related services. You accept them by creating an account or using the service.
If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company, and “you” means the company. AxonQA is a business tool; you must be at least 18 to use it.
2.The service
AxonQA is a quality assurance platform: AI-assisted test creation, test automation, API testing, app exploration, quality insight, and Axon AI working across all of it. Some capabilities run in our cloud; the optional local agent runs on machines you control, for applications on private networks.
Features marked as beta or coming soon may change or be withdrawn. We continuously improve the service; where a change materially reduces core functionality you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
3.Your account and organization
- Keep your sign-in credentials confidential and enable two-factor authentication for accounts with access to sensitive projects.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for managing the roles and access of members you invite to your organization.
- Provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- Tell us promptly at security@axonqa.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4.Acceptable use
AxonQA can sign in to applications, click through them, submit forms, and call APIs. That power comes with one hard rule:
Only test applications you own or have explicit authorization to test. You are responsible for having that authorization before you point AxonQA, its exploration, or its API testing at any target.
In addition, you must not:
- Use the service against third-party applications or websites without permission, or for scraping, credential testing, or denial-of-service of any system.
- Attempt to break tenant isolation, probe our infrastructure, or access another organization’s data.
- Upload or process content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the service without a written agreement with us.
- Evade plan limits, rate limits, or billing restrictions.
We may suspend or restrict accounts that put the service or others at risk, and where practical we will tell you why and how to resolve it. Security research on AxonQA itself is welcome only via security@axonqa.com.
5.Your content and data
You own the content you bring to AxonQA and the results it produces for you: projects, requirements, test cases, frameworks, runs, artifacts, and reports. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process that content to provide the service, and nothing more.
- We do not use your content to train AI models.
- You can export your test cases and results at any time.
- You are responsible for the content of the applications you test, including any personal data that appears in screenshots and recordings of them.
How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6.AI-generated output
Axon generates test cases, automation, healing suggestions, summaries, and answers. AI output can be imperfect or incomplete, and the same request can produce different results. Review AI output before relying on it, especially before treating a passing run as proof that a release is safe.
AxonQA is a tool that helps you test software. It does not guarantee that defects will be found, and no testing tool can guarantee your software is free of defects.
7.Plans and fees
- Plans. Features and limits per plan are described on the Pricing page. Prices are in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise.
- Fees. Self-serve organizations start on a paid Pro or Team subscription. Stripe confirms the purchase before we create the workspace. Subscriptions are billed in advance, renew automatically until cancelled, and remain active for the paid-up period. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of price changes, effective from your next renewal.
- Promotions and refunds. A valid promotion may reduce an invoice, including to zero. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on an organization’s first paid subscription; contact support within 14 days of purchase to request it.
- Fair use. AI-powered features carry plan allowances; we may throttle usage that substantially exceeds them and will offer an upgrade path rather than surprise charges.
8.Connected services and the local agent
You can connect AxonQA to services such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr Scale, Slack, Microsoft Teams, BrowserStack, and your CI. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for having the right to connect them. We access connected services only as you authorize, and you can revoke a connection at any time.
The local agent runs on machines you control. You are responsible for the environment it runs in; it connects outbound to AxonQA and does not accept inbound connections.
9.Intellectual property
AxonQA, including the platform, the local agent, and our branding, belongs to us and our licensors. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction; that never extends to your content.
10.Availability and support
We work to keep AxonQA available and fast, and we publish what is in place on the Security page. Planned maintenance is announced where it may affect you. Promotional or complimentary access is provided without an availability commitment; enterprise availability terms are agreed in writing.
Support is available at support@axonqa.com.
11.Cancellation and termination
- You can stop using AxonQA and cancel at any time. Access continues through the paid-up period. Refunds are available under the 14-day money-back guarantee above or where the law requires them.
- Export your data before closing your account. On verified deletion requests we remove your organization’s data from production systems, after which it ages out of encrypted backups.
- We may suspend or terminate for material breach of these terms, including the acceptable use rules, or where required by law. Where practical we will warn you first.
12.Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties beyond what these terms state expressly. To the extent the law allows: neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data caused by the other; and our total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid for the service in that period, or £100 if you have paid none.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud. You are responsible for losses arising from testing targets you were not authorized to test, and you will indemnify us against third-party claims caused by that breach.
13.Changes, law, and contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will notify account owners at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use AxonQA after that means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you rights that cannot be excluded.
